When Matt Wilber opened his first Fit Body location in 2013, he had one goal:
to help people; to give people a place to go when they were ready to change. This commitment transcends fitness - then and now - so at Christmastime in 2013, Matt partnered with a client who helped him identify kids in need.
To Matt’s surprise, the kids didn’t want toys or games. They asked for socks and underwear. "It broke my heart. I had no idea this kind of need existed in the Grand Haven community. Some of the stories are absolutely heart breaking.”
So, in 2013, with the help of his Grand Haven Fit Family, Matt raised $3,200 and purchased socks, underwear, warm clothes, and toys for 100 kids.
